LifeTime Resources will not collect personal information about you when you visit our website unless you voluntarily choose to provide personal information by sending an email or entering information on our response form.  If you choose to identify yourself by sending LifeTime Resources an email or by using our response form, some personal data may be collected.  LifeTime Resources will not send personally identifiable information about you to other companies, agencies, or people unless:

  • we have received consent from you to share such information,
  • we need to share your information to provide the service you have requested,
  • we are required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process, or
  • we find that your actions on LifeTime Resources' website violate our agency's purposes.

LifeTime Resources provides links to many websites that are not controlled, maintained, or regulated by LifeTime Resources or any organization affiliated with LifeTime Resources, and as such LifeTime Resources is not responsible for the content on those websites.  Use of information obtained from those websites is voluntary, and reliance on that information should only be undertaken after an independent review of its accuracy.

Confidentiality and HIPAA

LifeTime Resources is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).  Finalized on August 14, 2002, the HIPAA Privacy Rule ensures that all personal medical information you share with doctors, hospitals, and others who provide and pay for healthcare is protected.

If a LifeTime Resources employee is in a position designated by the agency as being covered under the act, the employee will receive the necessary training and sign the additional confidentiality statement.  The HIPAA manual and policies are available in the LifeTime Resource Center.
